Zachary Thomas Howerton

Zachary Thomas Howerton, born October 13, 1985, passed away on April 19, 2015. Zachary was born and raised in Pocatello ID and attended Chubbuck elementary, Hawthorne Middle School, and graduated from Highland High School in 2004. After his graduation, Zachary worked as an Environmental Specialist at Simplot and then continued his career path at Con Agra Foods. In February of 2012, Zack married Tasheena.
Zachary had many passions in life. He enjoyed the outdoors and would frequently be found deer or elk hunting, duck hunting and fly fishing. He also enjoyed baseball, football, golf, and training his dog Chief. Most of all Zachary loved being with his family.
Zachary is survived by his wife Tasheena and daughter Emmersyn Howerton; father Randy Howerton; mother and stepfather Karen and Allen Vaalemoen; brothers Bracken (Shaley) Howerton; sister Sami Payton; sister-in-law Seneca Nilsson; brother-in-law RJ Stopka; brother-in-law Brock Nilsson; brother-in-law Brandon (Denika) Nilsson; brother-in-law Dustin Yerboch; Grandmas Vonda Howerton and Norma Gorham; mother-in-law Launali (Ray) Leo; father-in-law Melvin (Rhonda) Nilsson; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and oodles of nieces and nephews.
Zachary is preceded in death by his grandpa Thomas Howerton, Uncle Ricky Howerton, Grandpa Joe Gorham, Grandmas-in-law Colleen Wood and Karen Sloup, and great grandma Catherine Tryon.
Memorial services will be held at 11AM on April 25, 2015 at Wilks Funeral Home, 211 W. Chubbuck Rd. with a gathering one hour prior to the service.
