Wilma Ida Clemmens

June 7, 1913 — January 26, 2012

Our Beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother and cherished aunt, passed away January 26, 2012 at the age of 98.

Wilma Ida was born to William T. and Mary Elnora (Hersh) Ingram on June 7, 1913 in Dry Creek, Idaho. She had five older siblings.

Wilma attended school in Boise, Idaho until the age of 17 when she met and married Sanford (Sandy) A. Sexton on September 26, 1930. Four children were born to them. The family moved to Pocatello where she resided until 1968. Wilma was a homemaker and accomplished seamstress. She rode horse back on trails with family, enjoyed long car rides and loved time spent with adored grandchildren.

After Sandy passed away, January 12, 1968, Wilma married childhood friend H.V. (Jack) Clemmens on November 9, 1968 and moved to Boise, Idaho. She worked for a time with Jack in his Boise White Trucking Company. They enjoyed traveling, boating and their classic car club meets.

Wilma was a member of Eastern Star, Pythians and other philanthropic organizations.

After Jack passed away, February 25, 1982, Wilma continued to live in Boise. Family was very important to Wilma and she drove several times a year to Pocatello to be with them. Her license expired in 2008.

Wilma was an avid reader and pinochle player with friends. She kept busy with sewing, knitting, crocheting, ceramics, crafts and yard sales. She was a world traveler and toured the U.S. with her friends. At the urging of her family she moved to Pocatello in July of 2005. She was young at heart with her faith and positive thinking and continually delighted her family and friends.

Arlen) Bybee, Pocatello, James (Anne) Sexton, Pocatello, Juanita (Kay) Davies, Pocatello; grandchildren, Sandra (Justin) Lee, Salt Lake City, Tim Davies, Green River, WY, Penny (Rick) Zamara, Mountain Home, ID, Philip (Valerie) Sexton, Colorado Springs, CO, Stephen (Paulette) Sexton, Albuquerque, NM; great-grandchildren, Cassidy (Michele) Davies, Rock Springs, WY, Tyler Zamara, Boise, ID, Brock Zamara, Boise, Hannah Zamara, Twin Falls, ID, Megan (Chris) Jacobsen, Salt Lake City, Dannon Lee, Salt Lake City, Devin Lee, Salt Lake City, Jason Sexton, Castle Rock, CO, Jennifer Sexton, Denver, CO, Colton Zamora, Pocatello; great great-grandchildren, Olivia Davies, Rock Springs, WY, Addison Jacobsen, Salt Lake City, Savanna Davies, Rock Springs, WY.

She was preceded in death by; her parents, husband, Sanford (Sandy) A. Sexton; infant son, Jerry; husband, H.V. (Jack) Clemmens; brothers, Merle and John; sisters, Margie Boyer, Mary Gaines, and Ethel Morse.

As per Wilma's wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration of Wilma's life is set for June 2, 2012, time and place to be announced at a later time.
