William “Kyle” Stoor, 56. Was born May 30th, 1967, He returned back to Heaven on Saturday, July 22nd surrounded by his family.
Kyle was the best birthday present his mom could have received. Being born on her 32nd birthday. Kyle is the son of Johnnie Devon Stoor and Allene Haglund Stoor. He is the 5th of 6 children. Kyle was raised in Chubbuck Idaho where he attended Chubbuck Elementary, Hawthorne JuniorHigh, Highland High, and in 1986 graduated from Pocatello High. He then went on to obtain his CDL certification.
To know Kyle is to love Kyle. He had a gift of giving love to those around him. Kyle was an adventure waiting to happen. He loved being surrounded by friends and family and was always on the go. Everyone has a very special and oh so unique memory with Kyle. He is the life of the party! He loved helping people in any way he could and was always very loving and kind. A great protector of the underdog, Kyle had a very tender heart for those in need.
Kyle had a passion for football which he got from his mama. He played football through his youth on into high school with his mom cheering him on. “GO STOOR KID GO” could be heard by anyone within a 50-mile radius when Kyle was playing. He loved collecting anything sports related. Kyle may have been short in stature but mighty in spirit and strength. He was the world’s arm-wrestling champion 3 years in a row and also loved racing his go carts. Kyle even had a hidden passion for teaching people to drive.
Kyle had many jobs throughout his life, but his favorite job was driving trucks across the country. He felt he was always on an adventure. Kyle loved seeing the creations that God made, but above all he loved raising Elijah and Jacob with Stephanie Petty. He considered it a great privilege to be their bonus father and loved sharing in their lives.
Kyle is survived by four of the best siblings a guy could ever ask for: Caroline (Brent) Binggeli, Gerrie (David) Trammell, John (Jo) Stoor, Kelcie (Steven) Hall; as well as many nieces and nephews who loved and adored him.
He was greeted in heaven by his father, mother and big brother Matt Leon Stoor. He made the card game even though it is doubtful even in Heaven that you could beat dad at a good game of rummy. In addition to his parents and brother, both sets of grandparents, 3 nephews and a niece all preceded him in death.
Our family would like to sincerely thank everyone at Enhabit Hospice who cared for our brother and family. We thank you for your support and knowledge.
