William Gustave Haas, Jr.

William G. Haas, Jr., 54, passed away September 10, 2019 of natural causes in Challis, Idaho. Bill was born on November 22, 1964 son of William Sr. and Geraldine Haas. Bill grew up in Williamstown, New Jersey and graduated from Williamstown High School in 1983. Bill met Trish Woods in 1989; they resided in Vineland, New Jersey for 24 years where they raised their 3 sons, Timothy, Matthew, and Zachary. Later they moved to Pocatello, Idaho in 2014. From his children he was also blessed with three beautiful grandchildren, Sophia, Kennedy and Adam. Bill drove truck for 30 years for several trucking companies where he made many lifelong friends. Bill enjoyed fishing, although his favorite past time was talking to people wherever he went, he never met a stranger. He dearly loved his family and would do anything for them. He was a diehard Philadelphia Eagles fan. Bill and Trish loved music, four wheeling, and spending time in the mountains looking for wildlife. Bill is survived by his wife, Trish Woods, of Pocatello, Idaho; children, Timothy B. (Jennifer) Woods, N.J., Matthew S. Woods, KY, and Zachary W. Haas, ID; parents, William Sr. and Geraldine Haas, Sr., N.J.; sisters, Michele Haas and Geri (Teddy) Haas, N.J.; Bills grandchildren, Sophia, Kennedy, and Adam, all of N.J. also Robert Woods, Idaho Falls and Trena (Dale) Wharton, Pocatello; and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Bill is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Anna May Haas; and maternal grandparents, Verna Mae and Alexander Zenobi. A Celebration of life will be announced at a future date.
