Bill was born on January 18, 1920 to Eathen Freeman Cutler and Ida Ella Lish at the family home in Onyx, Idaho. He was the 14th of 16 children. He lived in Onyx until he was 8 or 9 when they moved to Pocatello.

Bill went to work for the Union Pacific Railroad in 1939 but was later drafted and served with the U. S. Army Transportation Service from 1943 to 1945. Upon returning from the Army, he went back to work at the railroad where he spent 40 years working as a Carman. He retired in 1980. Leone past away in February 1985.

Bill was active in the LDS church and held several callings. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling, taking care of his yard, and he always had a big garden. He was very active until last fall when his illness slowed him down. One of his favorite things was his family and the family gatherings.
