William "Bulldog" Clark

William Peter Clark, Sr. 80, passed away peacefully at his home with his wife by his side on Sunday, August 4, 2013.
Bill was born January 1, 1933 in Sarpy County, Nebraska. He was raised and educated in that area.
Bill enlisted in the U.S. Army in April 1953. He attained the rank of Corporal, and received the National Defense Service Medal during the Korean Conflict. He was honorably released from his military service in April 1955.
Bill worked for the Union Pacific for a year prior to his military service and returned to his devoted service to the railroad upon his release. During the years he progressed to become the General Foreman, and it is there that he became known as Bulldog. He retired in December 1993. His friendships with his co-workers have continued through the years and they are counted among his dearest friends.
Bill married Peggy J. Justesen on December 14, 1957 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. They have been married for 54 years and were looking forward to celebrating their 55th Anniversary this year.
Bill enjoyed fishing, camping, and loved watching auto racing and professional wrestling. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his granddaughter, Crystal. He and Peggy served as scout leaders in Boy Scout Troop 485 for many years in Omaha, Nebraska.
Bill is survived by his wife, Peggy J. Clark of Pocatello; sons, Billy Clark and David (Nancy Quiroz) Clark, both of Pocatello; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Bill was preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Baird in 2010.
Bill's family wishes to express their gratitude to the angels at Encompass Home Health and Hospice. The care and compassion that was shown to, not only Bill, but to the whole Clark family will forever be grateful for their commitment.
