William (Bill) Boyd Stewart, 59, passed away Friday, June 16, 2017 in Pocatello, Idaho. He was born November 19, 1957 at Hill Air Force Base, Clearfield, Utah to Keith Val Stewart, Sr. and Edith Anna Cannon. He was the third of nine children, with seven brothers and one sister. Bill's dad was in the Air Force and the family traveled all over the country. Some of the states he lived in were Utah, California, Colorado, Oklahoma, Washington, Michigan, and Idaho (and some of them more than once.)
Bill graduated from Clark County High School in 1976. He served a mission for the LDS Church in the Chile, Orsono Mission from 1977 to 1979. He attended Ricks College where he graduated in 1980. While there he met Cindy Lou Meservy at the 1979 New Year's Eve dance. They were married in 1982 in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. They are the parents of three sons, William Clark (Lindsay) Stewart, Ian Oliver (Heidi Berry) Stewart, and Morgan Keith (Dusty) Stewart. And he was the beloved grandpa of Henry.
Bill worked at various businesses in the Pocatello area and retired from the FBI after 25 years of employment. He enjoyed being a computer specialist and created programs that made other people's lives a whole lot easier. He was willing to help people with their computer problems and he was a good math tutor to his children and their friends. He enjoyed writing poems and playing his guitar. He had a warm and fun sense of humor and made people laugh even in tense situations. He enjoyed taking his sons on hikes and camping with his family. His greatest joy was helping his family. Bill was a member of the LDS Church.
Bill is survived by his wife and three sons, his father, and brothers Patrick James (Veronika); Reed Lee (Elizabeth); Keith Val, Jr. (Joyce); Kenneth Edward (Jill); Gordon Ray (Kim); Russell Frank (Michelle); and his sister, Tammie Lynne (Mike) Smith.
Bill was preceded in death by his mother and brother, David Aaron.
