William "Bill" George Wilson

William "Bill" G. Wilson, age 55, of Pocatello passed away on November 3 at his residence due to a short battle with cancer. Bill was born September 13th, 1959 in Pocatello, Idaho to Lee & Sharon Wilson.

Bill grew up in Pocatello, Idaho and moved to Arkansas post high school to work and establish a life of his own. He later returned to Pocatello to be with family until his untimely passing. During the course of the last few years, Bill was privileged to have some very meaningful friendships and relationships in his life. He had some very special years with Karen Davis whom he cared for and shared a home with until she passed away. More recently, Bill had a relationship with Cindy Johnson, who was a very significant person in his life, helped care for him, and was someone that he trusted.

Bill was once married for a period of time and had one daughter, Rainey, with whom he had a distant relationship. Though they were not close, Bill loved her very much and was very proud of her.

Bill loved the outdoors particularly hunting, camping, and fishing. He also enjoyed activities such as playing bingo out at Fort Hall and was faithful in playing the lottery. Bill also appreciated relaxing in his recliner with his Mountain Dew either watching movies or completing a crossword puzzle.

He was preceded in death by his parents Lee & Sharon and his brother Deon.

He is survived by his sister Kimberly, his brother Dirk (Penny), and his daughter Rainey. He will be missed greatly by his remaining family.

The family would like to extend a special "Thank You" to Jason Eddy and Virginia Lish for being such good friends to Bill and for watching over him. We know he appreciated it.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, November 7, 2014 at the Mountain View Cemetery Section 33 West. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Wilks Funeral Home 211 W. Chubbuck Road. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.wilksfuneralhome.com.
