Will J Gardner

December 10, 1971 — April 5, 2015

Will J. Gardner, 43 passed away at his home on April 5, 2015.

Will was born December 10, 1971 in Pocatello, the son of Neil and Carrie (Winward) Gardner. Will loved football as a boy and excelled with the sport throughout his middle and high school years. During his senior year in high school, his team went to the State tournament for the first time in 15 years. The mentoring from his coaches served him some great life's lessons that rewarded him well. He graduated from Pocatello High School and went on to ISU where he majored in business classes.

Will was raised in the outdoors and helping with the family plumbing business. He was involved with the daily operation of B & G Plumbing until 2002, when he branched out on his own where he founded and operated Mountain River Plumbing until the time of his passing. When he wasn't working, he was outdoors with his family and friends. He enjoyed elk hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, four-wheeling, and camping.

Will's family would like to thank his friends, neighbors and the Inkom Community Bible Church for their love and support for him.

Will is survived by his mother, Carrie Dee Gardner, Pocatello; the love of his life and girlfriend, Tana S. Fry, Pocatello; sons, Talon N. Gardner and Brody J. Gardner, stepchildren, Haydon R. Newsom and Emiley A. Fry all of Pocatello; sisters, Cindy (Alan Koger) Bundy, Pocatello; Holly (John) Golightly, Pocatello; Connie (Russ) Marley, Temecula, California; and brother, Matt N. (Tasmin) Gardner, Pocatello; and many nieces and nephews.

Will is preceded in death by his father, Neil Gardner; and grandparents, Howard & Louise Gardner, and LaMar & Velma Winward.

A celebration of his life will be held at 11:30 AM, Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Wilks Funeral Home, 211 W. Chubbuck Road, with Pastor Russell Blair, of Inkom Community Bible School officiating. A gathering for friends and family will be held 10-11:30 AM at the funeral home prior to the services.
