Wayne Allen Martin

On Friday, December 4, 2020, Wayne Allen Martin, loving husband, father, and grandfather, passed away at the age of 63 with his wife and sons by his side. Wayne was born on March 4, 1957 in Baltimore, Maryland to Dorothy Louise Steele Martin and Homer Howard Martin. On May 15, 1975, Wayne married his sweetheart Julie Ann Smith. Wayne and Julie raised two sons, Rex and Greg (Angie Sheets). Wayne was a doting grandfather to his grandchildren Andrew E. Kraus, Kody J. Martin, Kaden G. Martin, Georgia D. Martin, Jordyn T. Sheets, and Emily A. Martin. Wayne spent much of his time enjoying his family and grandchildren while watching Disney and football. Wayne was well-known for his sense of humor and infectious laugh. Wayne was a skillful storyteller and was known by many and loved in his community. Wayne was preceded in death by his mother and father as well as his brother, Mark Leroy Martin. Wayne is survived by his wife Julie; his sons, Rex and Greg; and his siblings, Richard L. Martin, Dean H. Martin, Robert L. Martin and Sean R. Martin. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
