Walter Lynn Plackett

Wally was born to Lyle and Shirley Plackett on October 4, 1962 and left his mortal body and pain on December 14, 2022 at Portneuf Medical Center with his daughter, Breann, by his side.

Wally was born and raised in Pocatello. He completed some college education at ISU. He was the youngest of four boys. Wally had three daughters, Katrina Stone, Breann Roberts, Mariah Cherry, all of whom were the lights of his life.

Wally married Jennie Gullinese in 1984 and had a beautiful daughter Katrina. They later divorced and he married Terri Fetchen and they had another beautiful daughter, Breann. They divorced in 1993 but continued a wonderful friendship.

Wally enjoyed disc golfing, music, and playing the guitar. In his younger years, he hunted, fished, and enjoyed the outdoors.

Wally had the most contagious laugh and was always the one to crack a joke or make you laugh in any hard or awkward moment.

Wally is survived by his mother, Shirley Plackett of Pocatello, Idaho; brother, Elvin Brown of Anchorage, Alaska; brother, Alan (Sandra) Brown of Ft. Pearson, Florida; brother, Learon Plackett of Pocatello, Idaho; daughter, Katrina Stone of Boise, Idaho; daughter, Breann (JD) Roberts of Pocatello, Idaho, daughter, Mariah Cherry, Pocatello Idaho; and 7 grandchildren, Syrissa, Jazton, Byntlee, Eden, Joseph, Terranie, and Syleana. He was preceded in death by his father, Lyle Plackett.

Family will gather with friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at Wilks Funeral Home, 211 W Chubbuck Rd, Chubbuck, ID.
