Wallace F. Eldridge

July 5, 1938 — March 6, 2012

Wallace Frank Eldridge, 73, of Chubbuck, passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2012, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

“Wally” was born in Salmon, Idaho to Wiley “Bill” and Sarah Phyllis Eldridge. He married Arta Demicell on May 4, 1960, they later divorced. On the 9th of April, 1971, he married Ada Dee Muir. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden, Utah Temple on the 16th of December, 1975.

Wally grew up in the Sugar-Salem area where he graduated from Sugar-Salem High School. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. He was a master carpenter and welder. He and his wife also owned a ceramic shop and welding shop in Sugar City. Wally loved to fix anything that was broken. If he couldn't fix it, it couldn't be fixed.

Wally and his wife served four missions for the LDS Church from 2001 to 2008 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Wally is survived by his wife Ada Dee of Chubbuck, his children; Vicki (Ned) Newman of Pocatello, Sandy (Justin) Jones of Ucon, Donn (Jodi) Eldridge of Rigby, and Bill Eldridge of Pocatello, step-children; Jim (Lorrie) Moss of Las Vegas, Nevada, Wendy Walker of Parker, Renee (David) Neumann of Carpentersville, Illinois, step-daughter in-law; Jana Moss of Othello, Washington; ; brothers, Wiley Eldridge, Phil Eldridge, Richard Eldridge, Dee Eldridge and Mike Eldridge, 21 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, mother, stepson, Levi Moss, sister in-law Michelle Eldridge and granddaughter Kimberly Herrera.

Funeral services will be directed by Wilks Funeral Home in Sugar City, Idaho at the Sugar City Stake Center, 6 North Teton Avenue, Sugar City, Idaho, on Monday the 12th of March, 2012, at 11 AM. The family will receive friends at 10 AM until the start of services. Interment will be at the Chesterfield Cemetery in Chesterfield, Idaho.

The family would like to express our sincere gratitude to Creekside Home Health and Hospice along with granddaughter Orinda and nieces, Katie and Kami for the love and care prior to Wally's passing.
