Vonda "Maxine" Wall

Vonda Maxine Westover Wall, 88, passed away surrounded by her loving family on September 13, 2021, at Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, Idaho.

Maxine was born on January 15, 1933 to Floyd Delbert Westover and Margaret Clay.

She met her husband William Dwight Wall in February of 1949 and they were married on the 25th of September of that year.

Maxine attended Aberdeen High School through her sophomore year. She enjoyed playing the trombone in school and was a member of their marching band. Maxine also loved her choir classes, pep club and playing basketball.

In her later years, she loved attending the Senior Citizen Center and made many lifetime friends there. Maxine loved doing her needle work, making beautiful dolls for her grandchildren. She loved bowling with her family where, one year, they received the Bowling Family of the Year award. She loved camping and traveling as much as she could.

Maxine and William had five children: Linda (Dan) Hall, Bill Wall Jr. (Debbie), Myra (Daren) Neibaur, Vonda Brunson and Mike Wall. They have 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and two great great-granddaughters.

Maxine will be united with her husband William, daughter Vonda Brunson, granddaughter Christina Wall Brown, grandsons Chad and Christopher Wall, and a great-grandson Donovan Hall. She will also be united with her brothers, sister and numerous friends and relatives.

A funeral service will be held in her honor at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at the LDS Bringhurst Building 140 Bringhurst, Chubbuck, Idaho 83202. A viewing will be held at the church on Friday, September 17, 2021 from 6-8 p.m. as well as from 1:00-1:45 p.m. prior to the service on Saturday.
