Violet Mae Lintvedt, 90, McCammon, Idaho passed away on Sunday January 14, 2018. She was born May 21, 1927 to Robert and Bertha Stillman, in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Violet was the youngest of 3 girls. She married the love of her life, Howard Henry Lintvedt on May 28, 1949, and together they were blessed with 2 children, a daughter Pam and a son Carl. Howard and Violet spent most of their lives living in McCammon, ID. They loved spending the summers in Island Park and traveling to Arizona during the winter.
Violet loved crocheting, quilting, sewing, watching bull riding, cooking, baking and being a mom and grandma. Her children, grandchildren and her great grandchildren were her pride and joy and she especially loved spoiling them every chance she got. Nobody ever left grandma's house with an empty stomach.
She is survived by: her daughter Pam Bissegger (Dallas); her son Carl Lintvedt (Rita); her grandchildren, Angie Bissegger, Lori Hoffa (Jason), Troy Lintvedt (Niki) and Erika Lintvedt; her great-grandchildren, Tyler Hoffa (Justine), Collin Hoffa, Derick Wigington, MaKayla Walters, Trevor and Jansen Lintvedt; also by her nieces Marge Johnson and Margaret Degrand.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Gateway Transitional Care and Encompass Hospice, for their love and support during the last few months.
Family will receive friends at an open house on Thursday January 18, 2018 from 11:00 a.m to 1:00 p.m at Wilks Funeral Home 211 W. Chubbuck Road. Interment will follow the open house at the Mountain View Cemetery.
