Violet J Attenweiler, 58, lost her battle with Cirrhosis that she had been fighting for the last 3 years. She passed away December 16, 2015 at Portneuf Medical Center with her loving family by her side.
Violet was born on February 19, 1957 in Blackfoot, Idaho to Vernon and Alice Tucker. She grew up in Blackfoot where she attended school.
Violet later met William R. Benjamin (AKA Bill Delaney). They later got married and had 2 children; Ida (Benjamin) Young and Mandy Benjamin. They later divorced. Violet had worked at the Cathey Café. She loved playing bingo, darts and doing crafts. She also loved camping and the family get-togethers.
Violet later met and married James F. Attenweiler on February 17, 1998 in Blackfoot, Idaho. Together, they resided in Blackfoot until 2001 when they moved to Pocatello, Idaho, which they made their home.
Violet is survived by her husband James F. Attenweiler; her daughters Ida (Jody) Young and Mandy Benjamin, both of Pocatello; step-sons Chris Attenweiler of Kentucky, and Jermey Attenweiler of Michigan; Brother Norman (Cindy) Cannon of Blackfoot, her twin brother Dean Tucker of Pocatello, brother Rocky (Trina) Tucker of Blackfoot; sister-in-law Sheila Casto of Pocatello, grandchildren Natasha Attenweiler of Pocatello and Ashley Young of Pocatello; and great-grandchildren Lexi Kennedy of Pocatello and Kayzlee Young of Pocatello.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, the 23rd of December at 1:30pm at Mountain View Cemetery, 1520 S. 5th Ave in Pocatello, Idaho, Section 37 East. Condolences and memories may be left with the family by clicking on the "Share a Memory" tab on this page.
