Vicki Aguilar, 53, passed away in Pocatello, Idaho on Sunday, September 21, 2008, after complications from pneumonia and further infections which proved to be more than her body could handle. Vicki was born in Kalispell, Montana on January 8, 1955. She was the first of four children of Don and Lila Henkel. Vicki attended schools in Poplar, Ronan, Whitefish and Columbia Falls, Montana. She resided for short times in Wyoming and Missouri. Idaho was home to her and her husband, John Anderson. She was a free spirit that loved to experience new places as much as she could. As a young girl, Vicki was an active and accomplished bowler in the Jr. Bowling association. She always had a love for music that was on the cutting edge. Vicki learned to sew and developed an amazing talent to create. This talent led her into quilt making which she did to the end of her life. Vicki was a proud member of the red hat society. She dazzled family and friends with her creativity and talent for scrap booking and candle making. A vivid history of her life with family and friends exists through the beautiful records she compiled with love and pride. John and Vicki created a beautiful home for family and friends to congregate together, which was accented with her love of flowers that decorated the property to make it a home which was her lifelong dream. Vicki is survived by her husband, John Anderson of Pocatello; her four children, Heidi Wasia of UT, Staci Olsen of ID, Ben Butzlaff of IA, and Amber Warren of ID; seven grandchildren; Ashley, Cody, Talia, Eryn, Natasha, Tyler and Joshua. Also surviving is her brother Don Henkel of WY and two sisters, Julie Gaspar of AZ and Dottie Henkel of MO. Vicki was preceded in death by her father, Don Henkel, mother, Lila Mae Mosbarger, grandmother, Violet Brewster, grandfather, Don Loveall, and grandparents, Louie and Dottie Henkel. A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday, September 25, 2008, at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. Fourth Ave, Pocatello. Vicki was and is greatly loved and will be deeply, deeply missed. Vicki is gone, but never forgotten!
