Mrs. Vesta Bullock Wigington died peacefully in her home surrounded by family on January 17, 2018 at the age of 89. Vesta was born on December 14, 1928 in Arimo, Idaho to Ora John Barber and Illa Louise Gill. She lived with her grandmother Stinger in Arimo until she moved to Pocatello in her teenage years. She married Wesley Harris Bullock after he returned from WWII in 1946. The couple welcomed six children into their home. Her children remember her as a protective and dedicated mother with a terrific sense of humor. She worked for Idaho Egg as a young woman. Later she worked in housekeeping at the old Bannock Memorial Hospital and finished her career as a Potato Inspector at Lamb Weston. She was a tremendous worker who worked well into her 70's. Vesta was accomplished at sewing, crocheting, and gardening. She always kept a beautiful yard with roses and lilacs. She crocheted blankets for all her loved ones that are kept as keepsakes and memories of grandma. She loved to watch Bonanza and Walker Texas Ranger. She was a generous individual who loved her family and always loved having a dog sitting on her lap. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Vesta is survived by her children, Kristine Babb (Larry), Beverly Thorpe, Rod Bullock (Joni), Joe Bullock; her step-children, Bill Wigington (Cathy), Jim Wigington (Lynn), Sheri Overocker (Mitch), Melanie Ryder (Mark), Vaughan David (Rebecca), Tawnie Wigington; and her 48 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
