Vernetta Bishop Andreason, 62, passed away on Thursday October 7th, 2021, from an extended illness
On April 3rd, 1959 Vernetta was brought into this world by her loving parents, Vernon Bishop and Julia Bishop. She was the special big sister to Steven, Loretta, David, and DeOr. The five had a very unique bond, together they made a perfect team.
Vernetta attended schools in Blackfoot, including elementary school, junior high school, and high school. Vernetta graduated from Blackfoot High School, 1977. She was extremely active in school, especially Pep Band, Concert Band, and Jazz Band.
After her high school graduation, Vernetta married Jack Holland in 1977. In 1982 they welcomed Anthony Holland, Since Jack was in the military, they lived in various places, including Boise, Georgia, and Berlin Germany. While they were living in Berlin, they welcomed their second child, Anjillee, they later moved to Fort Carson, in Colorado, where they welcomed their third child Larla, they later divorced in 1991.
After the divorce, Vernentta took on her new role as single parent working various jobs to support her family, she then enrolled in Pikes Peak College to study her lifetime dream of becoming a nurse. She graduated in 1996 with a degree in nursing becoming a RN. She then met and married Ron Parsons. They moved to Pocatello where Vernetta worked at Portneuf Hospital. They later divorced, and Vernetta continued working at various assisted living centers, such as The Veterans Home. In 2010 she married Jaime Andreason, where they lived happily until her death,
Vernetta remained active in the LDS church and held various callings, she loved her grandchildren and crocheting where she won many awards from the Eastern Idaho State Fair including best in show.
Vernetta is survived by her husband Jaime Andreason, her son Anthony Holland, and her two daughters Anjillee (Cody) Lott and Larla Holland and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Vernon Bishop and Julia Bishop and a brother David Bishop
A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at the Raymond Park LDS Ward Building, 225 Oakwood Drive, Pocatello, Idaho 83204. A viewing will be held 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at Mountain View Cemetery.
