Vera Jane Heath

Vera Jane Heath, 58, has joined her Heavenly Father on Thursday, September 19, 2019. She passed peacefully at her home in Pocatello, ID. She was born on July 27, 1961 in Coeur dAlene, ID to Ervin Tynan and Patricia Hooker. She married Donald Uhrig, deceased, in 1976 with whom she had two children, and Steven Heath in 1988 with whom she also had two children. She is survived by her two sons, Brandon (Kaela) Uhrig of Pocatello, and Kayll (Tashia) Heath of Taylorsville; daughter, Amy Bristol of Pocatello; grandchildren, Mahryan Uhrig, Kadon Uhrig, Keaton Bristol, Pyper Uhrig, Brayden Steed, Oakley Steed, and Henry Heath; siblings, Earl (Johnnie) Tynan of Zillah, Jesse (Susie) Tynan of Toppenish, Iris Tynan of Portland, and Suzy (Rick) Palmer of Salmon. Veras mother, step-mother, father, step-father, brother, Fred, and daughter, Kerri preceded her in death. Vera most loved being a grandmother and hanging out with her grandkids. She was very proud of all of them. Her work interests included secretarial duties, welding assistant, and construction. She also pursued a career in cosmetology and as a seamstress. Sewing, crafts, and gardening were her favorite past times. She was an excellent seamstress. She made all of her childrens clothes when they were young. She was very talented at numerous crafts. She liked to paint Christmas bulbs for family and she wrapped gifts that looked like they were picked straight out of a magazine. She loved gardening and sharing what she grew or made with friends and family. When she wasnt hanging out with her grandchildren she loved spending time with her friends going out dancing, bowling, rock hunting, and searching for antiques. She was very generous with her time. She volunteered at various charities in Pocatello. If she could help someone out she would. Vera will be cremated and her ashes laid to rest alongside those of her mother.
