Veloy Ann Fullmer

December 5, 1939 — May 5, 2023

VeLoy Ann Fullmer passed away on May 5, 2023. She was born on December 5, 1939, to Felix L. Williams and Susie A. Fairchild in Pocatello, Idaho. She spent all but a few years of her life in Pocatello and attended schools in Pocatello as well.

She married Dennis Brown in 1957, and they had three children: George, David, and Barbara. Dennis passed away in 1969, and VeLoy later reunited with and married Ronnie Fullmer, and took on his five children: Ken, Glen, Steve, Cindy, and David.

VeLoy was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and spent time serving as a primary teacher and Den Mother. She sponsored many people in Al-Anon while also holding many leadership positions within that organization. VeLoy enjoyed fishing, birding, and camping. In her younger years, she and her friend Donna Wilson were the stars of the Pocatello High School Girls Volleyball Team.

She was a very loving wife, mother, grandma, sister, aunt, and friend. Many people who were not her biological children also called her “Mom”. VeLoy was also a wonderful homemaker, and her family will all miss her very much.

Her family would like to extend their gratitude to all the kind people with Symbii Hospice and Elegant Assisted Living Memory Care Unit who took excellent care of her.

VeLoy was preceded in death by her parents Felix and Susie Williams; five brothers: Cliff, Gail, Wally, Wayne, and Harold; her son Glen Fullmer; grandson Brandon Fullmer; daughter-in-law Cindy Fullmer; son-in-law Dan James, brother-in-law Jim Correll; and great granddaughter Azaleah Rose James.

She is survived by her husband Ronnie Fullmer of Pocatello; children: George (Robin) Brown of Pocatello, David (Julie) Brown of Pocatello, Barb James (Angie Cleverly) of American Falls, Kenneth (Michelle) Fullmer of Salt Lake City, Steven (Mirinda) Fullmer of Pocatello, David (Karen) Fullmer of Pocatello, Cindy (DeLynn) Jones of Buckley, WA; sister LaRay Correll (Billy Smith) of Yuma, AZ; 20 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
