Valeria Marie Rosales

Valerie “Val” Rosales, 14, of Pocatello, Idaho returned to her heavenly home on Friday May 24, 2024. 

Val was born on August 6, 2009, to Victor and Christina Rosales. She was born in Blackfoot, Idaho but lived all her life in Pocatello, Idaho. She attended Jefferson Elementary, Hawthorne Middle School, and was finishing up her 9th grade year at Pocatello High School.

Val was a member of the Harvest Church family and often helped with the Children’s Church Ministry. She was also involved with the Youth Group Ministry where she found a passion for music and was often asked to sing, Reckless Love, by Cory Asbury, which she

loved. On July 10, 2022, she was baptized and accepted Jesus as her savior. 

Val loved dancing and cheering. She started dancing at The Dance Factory when she was 5 years old and was a cheerleader at Cheer Extreme since when she was 7 years old. You’d often find TikTok videos of her and her sisters dancing or creating funny content. You could also find her stuffing her face with Taco Bell and a nice cold Dr. Pepper. Val loved sunsets and was always looking for the best place to take an epic picture. Her favorite color was pink, but many wouldn’t know that, because she wasn’t a girly-girl. She loved convincing her aunt and uncles to buy her new shoes every few months and thought she was G.O.A.T. She was. You’d often find her in her dad’s closet looking for some pants and an oversized shirt or on her bed talking with her mom about HS drama. She was a sweet and sassy soul and made everyone laugh.

She left so many memories behind and we will always cherish and remember them. She is survived by her parents Victor and Christina; sisters/partners in crime, Jasmine and Lizzie Rosales, along with numerous family members that she loved all so, so much. She also leaves behind so many friends and best friends (because she had many) that loved her, and she loved too.
