Vada A. Vorwaller

Vada Anona Moultrie Vorwaller, 90, passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2014 in Longview, Washington. Vada was born July 23, 1923 to Clarence H. and Ada M. Moultrie in Cleveland, Nevada. She was the sixth oldest of fourteen children and was raised most of her life in Tooele County, Utah. She attended high school and then married Yuba Jackson Vorwaller in 1940. They were later sealed in the LDS Logan Temple. Jack passed away in 1999. Vada occasionally worked to help support the family. Her employment included JC Penney for over 35 years, Montgomery Ward, the Dime Store and she also cooked in her early years at places like Rand's caf(c) in Arimo. Her hobbies include gardening, flowers, sewing, traveling, and dancing. She was a member of the LDS church. Vada is survived by four sons, Jack A. (Delores) Vorwaller, Pocatello, ID, Gary C. (Carol) Vorwaller, Soda Springs, ID, Elmer D. (Sandra) Vorwaller, American Falls, ID, Michael B. Vorwaller, Portland, OR; two daughters, Margie M. (Ron) McInelly, Marysville, WA, Joy E. (Scott) Allen, Pocatello, ID; four brothers, Roy L. Moultrie, WA, Gene R. Moultrie, WA, Leo A. Moultrie, WA, Keith F. Moultrie, OR, two sisters, Norma A. Moody, WA, Winona A. Spanner, ID; 13 grandchildren, 19 great- grandchildren, and 4 great- great- grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Jack; father and mother; four brothers, Alfred C. Moultrie, Wilford D. Moultrie, Marvin Moultrie, Charles C. Moultrie; three sisters, Eva E. Clarke, Zella M. Werner, Beatrice L. Tomas, and great-great grandson, Tyson Vorwaller. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at 11 AM at Colonial Funeral Home 2005 S. 4 th Ave. Pocatello, ID. 208-233-1500.
