Toni Lu Maynard

Toni returned home on January 28, 2022 after a valiant fight with stomach cancer. Toni Lu Wilson was born February 26, 1954 in Pocatello, ID to Guy J. Wilson and Verda Wolverton. Toni was a lifelong resident of Pocatello, loving this valley and her rural home. She dedicated her life to helping others as an RN.

Toni was married on December 27, 1974 to Brian Boyd Maynard, her lifelong soulmate.  Toni was a very artistic soul, having many hobby interests following retirement in 2010. Toni was known as the “The Peg Doll Lady” at local crafts shows. She loved seeing all the children that would come by the booth.

Toni had a very strong Christian faith. The family gives special thanks to Pastor Lew Phelps for his love and guidance thru the years.  Thank you to the EIRMC Cancer and Infusion Center.  Thank you so much for your loving care and kindness. Thank you Heritage Hospice.

Toni is survived by: Brian B. Maynard husband  Chubbuck, ID Buck B. Maynard (Candice) son Pocatello, ID Jake A. Maynard (Colleen) son Pocatello, ID Duncan Maynard grandson Pocatello, ID Kaylynn Maynard granddaughter Pocatello, ID Michael Wynn (Mary) brother St. Augustine, FL Georgia Wright (Ted) sister Chubbuck, ID Chuck Nicholls nephew Pocatello, ID Layne Nicholls nephew Pocatello, ID Guy Carothers (Amy) nephew Chubbuck, ID Also, many other cherished family members that are out of the area.

Toni is preceded in death by both of her parents and two sisters.
