Tj Lynn Root

T.J. Lynn Root, 31, of Pocatello, Idaho passed away on February 21, 2020 at Portneuf Medical Center surrounded by her family and loved ones.

T.J. was born on July 13, 1988 to Kenneth and Charlotte Root at Bannock Memorial Hospital.

T.J. was born and raised in Pocatello, Idaho. She attended the Roosevelt early learning center, Lincoln and Jefferson Elementary, and Pocatello High School.

T.J. found her calling in life to be a caregiver, especially caring for the elderly. She had a passion for life and loved all people and animals. She found beauty in all. She loved doing things outdoors including swimming, camping, fishing, and going for drives. She loved to color and spend time with her family and friends.

T.J. is survived by her mother Charlotte Lynn Ewell of Pocatello, Idaho; father Kenneth Paul Root of Pocatello, Idaho; sisters Tonya Lynn Crump, Stephanie Root, Shawna Root, and Samantha McClure all of Pocatello, Idaho, as well as her sister Linda Root of Boise, Idaho; brothers Christopher Root of Wilton, Florida, and Christopher McClure of Paul Idaho; fiancé Marcus Steed and his daughter Hennessy of Pocatello, Idaho. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and many other loved ones.

T.J. was preceded in death by her grandma Charlotte, uncle "Gabe" Christ Gabrielson, nephew Devan Paul Root, "Pa" Michael Ewell, cousin Jennifer Sue Bowman, grandpa Al Root, and step-mother Misty McClure.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation for the medical personal who took care of TJ on the ambulance, the staff at Portneuf Regional Medical Center, and the staff at Wilks Funeral Home.

A celebration of life will be held in her honor at 1 pm on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Rocky Mountain Ministry, 845 Hyde Avenue Pocatello, Idaho.
