Tina Spears

Tina Marie Spears (nee Hopkins), 57, was born May 18, 1961 and passed away on Friday, July 6, 2018. Tina has lived in Pocatello all of her life. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Tina graduated from Pocatello High School and attended Idaho State University. For many years, Tina has owned and operated her own business, Quality Home Care Staffing Service, along with her sister Kita. She was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister. She was always concerned with the well-being of every member of her family as well as her friends. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Jared Whitaker, Jordan (Kymberly) Whitaker and Tara Whitaker Converse; her grandchildren, Ava Whitaker, Deja Whitaker, Jaydon Whitaker, Landon Converse, Liam Whitaker, Harper Whitaker and Maximus Whitaker; her parents, Jerry and Nola Hopkins; and her siblings, Debbie (Roy) McKee, Kita (Darrel) Maravilla, and Shawna (Aaron) Jessen; her aunts, uncles, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 13, 2018 at 11:00 am at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. 4 th Ave. Pocatello, ID, with a gathering one hour prior to the services. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery, 1520 S. 5 th Ave. Pocatello, ID.
