Thomas Vaughn, 82, passed away Monday, January 26, 2015 at Portneuf Medical Center. Tom was born in Marsh Center, Idaho on July 24, 1932 to Millard and Pearl Vaughn. He married the love of his life, Esther, on July 23, 1955. They were sealed in the LDS Ogden Temple on February 10, 1973. Tom worked for Kraft food for 33 years and he never missed a day of work. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Tom enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, watching the Utah Jazz games with his wife, and playing with his kids and grand kids. He is survived by his wife, Esther Ann Hottel of Pocatello, ID; son, Thomas (Laurie) Vaughn of Kaysville, UT; daughters, Nancy Harmison, Dinah (Robert) Wardlow, Anna (Ron) White all of Pocatello, ID; sisters, Ethel (Ed) Girrard of McCammon, ID, Maxine (Lynn) Staten of Atomic City, ID; 18 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Millard Thomas Vaughn, mother, Pearl Emmline Gunter; son, Arthur Robert Vaughn; sisters, Artherlla Schuyler and Myrtle McClain. A viewing will be held on Friday, January 30, 2015 from 6-8 Pm at Colonial Funeral Home 2005 S. 4 th Ave. Pocatello, ID 208-233-1500 and also for one hour prior to services on Saturday at the church. Funeral services will be Saturday, January 31, 2015 at the Century Ward Building, 2271 S. 4 th Ave. (Corner of 4 th and Fredregill Rd.) Pocatello, ID at 2:30 Pm. Burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, 2864 S. 5 th Ave. Pocatello, ID 83204. Condolences can be made to the family online at www.colonial-funeralhome.com
