POCATELLO- Thomas J. Parrnelli, age 71, passed away suddenly Saturday morning, December 05, 2009, at Portneuf Medical Center.
Tom was born and raised in the Bay Area, California. He worked for many years with his dad in the family grocery store, followed by many years at a local machine shop as Quality Control Inspector.
He and his wife moved to Pocatello in October 2006, which he considered to be the best move of his life.
Tom is survived by his wife Eleanor, his best friend for 51 years; his very adoring family, daughter Lori Thomasy, son-in-law Jack Thomasy, granddaughter Heather Thomasy, and grandson and granddaughter-in-law Scott and Dana Thomasy, Chubbuck and Pocatello, Idaho.
He is also survived by his woonderful sister, Dolores Newbern, Ridgefield, WA, his caring brothers and sister-in-law, Joe and Sallie Parrnelli, Central Point, OR, David and Lynda Sanchas, Dublin, CA, Ed and Carol Sanchas, Medford, OR, sister-in-law Kay Perry, El Cerrito, CA, Margaret Saroiberry, Sacramento, CA, Edith Custadia, Livermore, CA. He leaves behind many nieces and nephews that he loved dearly and loved him back. Tom will forever be remembered by all for his infectious smile, his generosity, and his warm, caring and always positive attitude.
Tom has gone to join his loving parents, father Tom Parrnelli, mother Margaret Sanchas, step-father Joe Sanchas, step-mother Blanche Parrnelli, two adored nieces, Terry Palmer and Robbie McKinley and many other loved family members.
The family wishes to thank Dr. A. Scott Pierson and his staff for their exceptional care, with special thanks to Dr. Pierson for staying by my side with Tom when it was time.
Respecting Tom's wishes, there will be no services held.
