Thomas Myler, 63, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 2, 2015. Tom was born on June 1, 1952 in Pocatello, Idaho to Okrey G. Myler and Thora Ethel Allsop. He was raised with on the family farm in Arbon Valley. He graduated from Pocatello High School in 1970.
He married Peggy Griffiths and then later divorced in 1989. In June of 2002 he married Gloria Curl.
Tom enjoyed riding his motor bike up the mountains; he enjoyed playing and watching football. Collecting coins was his passion, he would buy coins and resale them to see how much profit he could make, he also collected beanie babies. He loved going to Missouri and camping out. Most recently he loved and looked forward to going to Costco. He would make daily trips to Costco to see the people there and enjoy lunch.
Tom was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings including Sunday School President and Cubmaster.
Tom is survived by: his wife, Gloria Myler, Chubbuck; children, Sarah (David) Peck, Aberdeen; sons, Todd (Misty) Myler, Blackfoot, Okrey Myler, Pocatello; Jen Myler, Pocatello; Kari Myler, Burley; brothers, Ken Myler, Pocatello, Garry Myler, Aberdeen, Joe Myler, Paul Myler, Pocatello; and 13 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; and brothers, Wayne Myler and Ralph Myler.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 7, 2015 at the Bringhurst LDS Chapel in Chubbuck, ID. A viewing will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 6, 2015 at Wilks Funeral Home 211 W. Chubbuck Road. Interment will take place in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
