Therese Jean LeClair, lifetime resident of Fort Hall, Idaho, passed away following an extended illness at the age of 58.
She was born October 14, 1958 in Pocatello, Idaho; daughter of the late Herbert and Dorothy Calico LeClair. She attended Blackfoot High School. She worked with the Best Western Hotel in West Yellowstone, MT and Branding Iron Café in Toppenish, WA and came back to Fort Hall to work the Shoshone Bannock Casino. She enjoyed camping, fishing, horseback riding and being outdoors. Theresa also enjoyed the 4-H Club, raising calf and sheep. She also joined the silver Sage Girl Scouts. She enjoyed buying bead work from tribal members and giving the bead work as gifts.
She is survived by; her son, Kordell Meninick, Toppenish, WA; brothers, Lonny (late Virgilena) LeClair, LeRoy LeClair, both of Fort Hall; 5 sisters, Charlene (late Alfred) Ignacio, LeMoore, CA; Florenda LeClair (Wayland Ballard), Yakima, WA, Diana LeClair, Ruby Bernal, Ogden, UT & Christine Rameriz; five nieces, Sherry Neaman of Toppenish, WA, Lucy Neaman, Kendra (Thayne) Wathomy, Shirley LeClair-Bernal; Helena Rameriz; four nephews, LaDale LeClair, Desmond LeClair, Stephen (Kenzie) LeClair-Bernal of Camp Lejeune, NC & Beaumont Rameriz.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters; Shirley Ann LeClair Small and Virgina Lou LeClair.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday April 1, 2017 at Wilks Funeral Home 211 W. Chubbuck Road a gathering will be held one hour prior to services and the family will leave the funeral home at 2:00 p.m. for the interment at Parker Kutch Cemetery in Fort Hall.
