Terry Lee Hoadley

Terry Lee Hoadley passed away peacefully at home April 27th, 2016. Terry was born November 7, 1951 in Riverton, Wyoming, he was the eldest of four boys. He attended elementary school in both Riverton, Wyoming and Caldwell, Idaho. His family moved to American Falls where he attended junior high and high school. Terry enlisted in the United States Marine Corp at the age of 17; he served two years and then was honorably discharged. Terry had a love for the outdoors, which led him to become a big game and river guide in the Selway up in the Salmon Challis National Forest. During this time Terry made lifelong friends, which he still kept in contact with. He also was a very knowledgeable guns man; he could tell you anything about every gun and also had quite the collection of his own.

Terry was blessed with two daughters, Tawny Kaye in 1972 and Jacquie Lee in 1975 who he loved dearly. In 1989, Terry met the love his life and soulmate, Judy in American Falls. They shared the same grand love for the outdoors and always made annual hunting trips to Bancroft or Brockman area. Terry finally talked Judy into saying yes and marrying him on July 1st, 2000 at her brother in laws dry farm. Together they made many memories and shared a very true love. They lived in American Falls for a short time and then they made their home in Pocatello, while Terry worked in construction or as a heavy equipment operator. In his younger years, Terry worked as a bouncer in various establishments around the state.

Terry loved to spend time with family and friends. He adored his grandchildren, Alex and Aleacia along with his great grandchildren. He enjoyed every moment he got to spend with them. He began teaching his oldest great grandson, Damion how to shoot guns and throw tomahawk at the tender age of six. He loved sharing his knowledge. Terry was known for his big heart and willingness to do anything for anyone. He was a very loved man and will be missed by all those whose lives he touched.

Terry is survived by his wife, Judy, daughter Jacquie Hoadley of Idaho Falls, brothers, Glen(Cindy) Hoadley of Nampa, Idaho, Tracy (Barbara) Hoadley of American Falls. His two grandchildren, Alex King and Aleacia Huber along with 3 great grandchildren and one on the way. Along with numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Tawny Hoadley, brother, Larry Hoadley and mother in law, Donna Tillotson.

Terry's family would like to thank everyone for the love and support during this difficult time. A private family service will be held at a later date.
