Terry Lee Haskett

Terry Lee Haskett, 65, passed away at his home on Sunday, October 6, 2013 in Pocatello, Idaho.

Terry was born February 12, 1948 to Milton and Marian Haskett in Twin Falls, Idaho. He attended school in both Pocatello and Twin Falls. Terry served in the Army during the Vietnam War as an E-5 Specialist Crew Chief/Helicopter mechanic in Germany and Korea. Terry worked for the City of Pocatello as a concrete inspector and with the Laborers Union in Idaho, Colorado and Utah until an injury caused his retirement.

He married Marilyn Chatterton together they had one son, Paul, and they were later divorced. In January of 1977 he married Sharon Hackmeister.

They loved to hunt, fish, camp in their various boats and RVs. Terry always enjoyed tinkering with his many vehicles. He also loved to meet with his friends at the Green T & The Pressbox.

He is survived by; his wife, Sharon; son, Paul Haskett of Boise; grandsons, Mason Haskett of Chandler, AZ and Brock Haskett of Boise; brother William Haskett of Pocatello; sisters, Sharon Fuhriman of Santa Maria, CA and Mary Stafford of Twin Falls; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a beautiful granddaughter, Madison Haskett.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at the Wilks Funeral Home 211 W. Chubbuck Road. Family will greet guests one hour prior to services on Thursday at the funeral home. Inurnment will take place following services at the Mountain View Cemetery with Military Rites provided by the Pocatello Veterans Honor Guard.
