Teri Jean Welch

Teresa "Teri" Jean Welch, 59, returned to her heavenly home on August 15, 2016 from natural causes. Teri was born on December 31, 1956 in Pocatello Idaho, where she lived her entire life. Teri owned and operated her business "Teris Nail Boutique" for 17+ years. As a young child, Teri enjoyed her trips to Montana where she spent time with her grandparents on a ranch riding her pony, Princess. She had a great love for nature and the outdoors. Teri had a great sense of humor with a great love for her family. She loved her dogs, Gus, Oliva and Peppie, as well as all animals. Teri enjoyed family gatherings and family dinners for any occasion. She was a member of the LDS church. Teri served in several callings including Young Womens, Primary and Relief Society. She had a very strong love and faith for the Lord. Teri was married to Emil Kazavis and had one child, Kidonia "Katie" Emilia (Kazavis) Gault, (spouse, John Daniel, deceased). Teri later married George "Rusty" LeRoy Welch on August 2nd, 1980 and they were sealed for all time and eternity in the Idaho Falls Temple on August 2, 1990. Together they have Lloyd George (Amy) Welch, John Thomas (Hailey) Welch, and Scott Richard Welch. Teri was preceded in death by her grandparents; John Daniel Gault (son in-law); Lola Mae Frazier (step-mother); and Wallace S. Savage (step-father). Teri is survived by her parents, Lyle Duane Frazier and Jacquelyn "Jackie" Savage; husband; children; 5 grandchildren, and a granddaughter due to arrive November 9th, 2016; siblings, Douglas Craig (Angie) Frazier, Big Piney, Wyoming; Jerre Lea (David) Wise, Pocatello, Idaho and Lloyd Duane Frazier, Boise, Idaho. A viewing will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2016 from 6-8 pm at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. 4 th Ave. Pocatello, ID. Funeral services will be on Friday, August 19, 2016 at 11 am also at Colonial Funeral Home with a viewing for one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery, 1520 S. 5 th Ave. Pocatello, ID 83204.
