Tanya Michael

Tanya Michael was born February 8, 1967 in American Falls, ID at Harms Memorial Hospital. Tanya was raised in Aberdeen, ID where she attended school until she was 18 years old, she then moved to American Falls, ID. In Tanyas younger years her favorite things to do included cruising around with her friends and spending time with her grandmother. Tanya was an independent hard working person. In her life span she held a few different jobs to include; Taco Time, Circle K, and the "Time Out" bar. The job she made a career out of was Lamb Weston where she worked since the age of 18, 31 years in total. While working at the "Time Out" bar Tanya met the love of her life Carl Michael whom she married on July 3, 1997. After 2 years of marriage she gave birth to their only child Ashlee Michael on September 28, 2000. Tanya passed away with her friends and family by her side on September 16, 2018 from natural causes following a cardiac arrest. Tanya is survived by her husband, Carl Michael; daughter, Ashlee Michael; her mother, Sylvia Gunter; sister, Amanda Merez; and brothers, Steven Clark and Dusty Rupe. Tanya was preceded in death by her grandmother and grandfather. Services will be held on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at 11 am at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. 4 th Ave. Pocatello, ID, with a viewing for one hour prior. Burial will follow at Falls View Cemetery in American Falls, ID.
