T. Ladell Tankersley Danielson

Ladell Tankersley Danielson of Paradise, Utah passed away May 2, 2015, at the age 90. She was born Feb. 12, 1925, near Clarendon Texas, to John Samuel and Stella May Mobley Tankersley.

She attended public schools in Texas and completed her bachelor's degree in elementary education at Utah State University in 1947. She taught school in Wendover, Nevada, and Paradise, Utah.

She married David Carl Danielson on June 1, 1948, in the Logan LDS Temple. They became parents of five children, Carma (Don) Sinex of Fort Mohave, Arizona, David B. (Linda) Danielson of Paradise, Utah, Sandra (Gary) Gibson of Pocatello, Idaho, John Carl Danielson of Logan, Utah, and Paul (Barbara) Danielson of Paradise, Utah.

Her life was one of service, not only to her own family, but to those around her. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Chris of Latter-day Saints and served for many years in the Relief Society and Primary organizations.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and her husband. Her living legacy includes her five children, 18 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Mary Helen (Alan) Bauer, and a brother-in-law, Hyrum Ipson.

Funeral services will be held May 9, 2015, at noon in the Paradise 1st Ward chapel, 155 E. 9400 South in Paradise, Utah. A viewing will be held from 11 a.m. to noon under the direction of Wilks Funeral Home in Pocatello, Idaho. Bishop Steve Short will preside over the services. Burial will be in the Paradise Cemetery.
