August 2, 1951 — May 15, 2014

Susan Merlene Watson passed away May 15, 2014 at her home in Chubbuck.

Susan was born August 2, 1951 in Afton, Wyoming to Gerald and Merlene Leavitt. The family moved to Pocatello, Idaho in 1955. Susan's school years were spent at Whittier Elementary, Irving Jr. High and Pocatello High School.

Susan was employed at Sheehan's Welding Supply which later became Gas House Welding Supplies when her father, Gary Leavitt purchased the store. She worked there for 30 years in purchasing and sales. She was an exceptional sales person who had a good rapport with her customers. Her coworkers enjoyed working with her. After retiring from Gas House, she took a job at Ridley's Grocery Store for two years until her physical limitations did not allow her to work any longer.

Susan was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and was a Relief Society worker in the Chubbuck 11th Ward. She spent a lot of her time volunteering at her grandchildren's schools and supporting their participation in sports.

Susan is survived by her mother, Merlene Leavitt; sister, Chris (Christopher) Lewis; daughters, Connie (Jon) Dominguez; Roni (Bobby) Bosquez; her grandchildren, Tony Dominguez, Anthony Bosquez, Amber Bosquez, Skylar Bosquez, and Veronica Bosquez; nephews, Danny Lewis, David Lewis; nieces, Nikki Lovell, Mindy McClain, and Jenny Zivkoviv. She was preceded in death by her sister, Kim Palkovich; her father, Gary Leavitt; a niece, Melanie Morain; her grandparents, Merle and Dracilla Wheeler and Dick and Lavinna Leavitt.

Susan had a kind heart and was dearly loved by all who knew her. She will be missed and remembered as Susan, a dear-hearted mother, sister, daughter, aunt, grandmother, friend and a child of God.
