Susan Marie Bezayiff

January 13, 1961 — June 13, 2020

Susan M. Bezayiff was born to MSGT Ralph and Viola Allen in Yuba City, California on January 13, 1961. She passed away June 13, 2020 at the age 59. Her early years were spent traveling with her parents as her dad was transferred to various military bases that were part of SAC. Susan enlisted in the Air Force and spent the next 9 years after graduating from the Air Force Financial Management College where she eventually obtained the rank of Sargent. She was dropped out of a helo in the Philippines, stationed at a facility in Langley, VA and eventually Hickam AFB HI. After leaving the military, she worked for the Sonoma County Office of Education in Santa Rosa, CA as a financial management specialist overseeing the billing operations for various school districts. She eventually left and went to work for Sonoma State University taking care of student housing costs. Susan met and married her husband, Matthew on December 26, 1998 in Lake Tahoe, CA. She enjoyed backpacking the high sierras with her husband, meandering down a river in the canoe or just sitting out at the beach. She and her husband moved to Idaho in 2002 where for the next 13 years she worked for the Idaho Transportation Department as an administrative assistant. While living in Idaho, Susan met some extraordinary people and touched a lot of lives in one way or another. Susan was a ray of sunshine and a joy to everyone within eyesight of her. She had a beautiful smile and a wonderful sense of humor. She enjoyed the time spent outside taking care of her flowers around the yard and sitting on the side of one of Idahos rivers watching her husband standing in the middle waving a big stick or teaching someone else how to wave a big stick. She was a member of the Harley Owners Group and enjoyed all of their rides throughout Idaho and she was a member of Angel Flight West. She is survived by her husband, Matthew; a sister, Pamela; and a brother, Stephan. She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Allen; her mother, Viola; and her older sister, Debra. As per her wishes, cremation will take place and down the road a family and friends get together will take place.
