Steven Robert Lish

Steve departed this mortal world into the arms of his loving Heavenly Father on January 2, 2013. He was born November 11, 1964 to Robert and Kathleen Lish in Pocatello, ID.

He graduated from Soda Springs High School in 1983 where he was active in sports and drama. Following high school he served an honorable full-time mission in the California Sacramento mission.
Steve married the love of his life Lana Cooley in the Logan temple March 28, 1986.

After moving around Idaho and Utah they settled in Chubbuck where they raised their three children.
Steve was blessed with the ability to communicate and interact with others. At the end of your first conversation with Steve, you would feel he was your best friend. This natural ability led him into a sales career where he worked for many companies as an account manager. The people he worked with always looked forward to his sales calls and his friendly demeanor.

Steve's greatest joy was found in his three children and the exemplary lives they have chosen to live. Anyone who knew him well knew about his children and what they were doing in their lives. Papa Steve enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and always looked forward to their visits.

Steve loved anything outdoors and anything with a motor. When he could, Steve would spend time fixing and tinkering with them in his garage all day. As a lover of cars you never knew when he was going to come home in a different vehicle. He will be remembered for the camping trips, riding four-wheelers and motorcycles, and sitting on the back porch in the summer enjoying an ice cold diet coke.
Those who knew him best would call him a confidant and loyal friend. He will be dearly missed by many.

Steve is survived by; his spouse, Lana; parents, Robert and Kathleen Lish of Rigby, ID; brother, Tim (Carol) Lish of Pocatello, ID; children, Nicole (Jeremy) Dalley, of Midland, Texas, Sidnie, and Roby; grandchildren, Noah and Landon Dalley.
