Steven L. Snooks, 64, passed away peacefully on January 24, 2018 at a Monte Vista Hills. Steven was born October 22, 1953 to Charles and Corrine Snooks in Fort Lewis, Washington.
Though born in Fort Lewis, Steven grew up in Pocatello, Idaho where he attended school. He went to work for the Union Pacific Rail Road for a short time before he started working as a tile setter and doing floor coverings. In 1972, Steven married Debra K. Norton in Pocatello, Idaho.
Steven loved the outdoors. He enjoyed working, horseback riding, fishing and especially hunting. He was able to go deer hunting one last time in October 2017 where he got his last deer.

Steven is survived by his wife Debbie Snooks of Downey, ID; daughter Brandi (Michael) Greenwood of Downey, ID; son Greg Snooks of Pocatello, ID; and his five grandchildren, Tanieka Sampson of Pocatello, ID, Caitlin Snooks of Pocatello, ID, Michael Greenwood of Downey, ID, Dakota Greenwood of Downey, ID and Ashlee Greenwood of Downey, ID. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Corrine.
A celebration of life will be held February 3, 2018 with location yet to be determined. Condolences and memories may be shared with the family under the "Tribute Wall" tab above.
