Steve John Christ

Steve John Christ 62, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2021 surrounded by his family and loved ones.

He was born in Rupert, ID to John and Georgia Christ on September 28, 1958. He graduated from Minidoka High School and spent most of his life in Rupert farming.

Steve met the love of his life Vickie in 2003, they were married on December 31, 2005. He spent the remainder of his life at their home in Inkom, ID

He enjoyed fishing, trapping and anything outdoors, but one of his most favorite things was spending time with his grandkids.

He is survived by his dear wife Vickie Christ of Inkom, daughters Casie (Kyle) Heiner of Idaho Falls, Kara Holt of Bend Oregon, and Jenny (Brian) Kirkham of Pocatello, son Justin (Kelly) Richardson of American Falls, sisters Stella (Nick) Gdontakis of Pocatello and Anna (John) Workman of Rupert, brother Tom Christ of Rupert, as well as 20 grandchildren.

We want to thank all of the wonderful people who helped take care of Steve, especially his home health nurses Julie and Katie whom Steve considered family and his hospice nurse Kelsey.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Huntsman Cancer Institute

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday September 30th at Wilks Funeral Home, 211 West Chubbuck Road Chubbuck, Idaho, with a visitation one hour prior from 10-10:50 a.m.
