Steve B. Ellsworth

d. November 20, 2017

Stephen Blair Ellsworth, 61, passed away on November 20, 2017 in Pocatello, Idaho. Stephen was preceded in death by his father, George Ellsworth; his mother, Phyllis Ellsworth; and his sister, Rebecca Adams. Stephen (Steve) born to George and Phyllis Ellsworth on January 27, 1956, was raised on a ranch in Lemhi, Idaho, where he developed a love for ranch and farm work. Steve served an LDS mission to Sacramento, California. Upon his return he married Nancy Cowley on October 19, 1979 in the Idaho Falls Temple. To this union were born four children: Stephanie, Patrick (BreAnne), Kara (Jayme), and Jameson (Samantha). Steve graduated from CSI with a Degree in Diesel Mechanics. Steve and Nancy later divorced. On July 14, 1990 Steve married the love of his life, Cynthia Horting, in Boise, Idaho. Cindy brought three children to the union: Sean, Cassi (Bruce), and Tyrell (Danielle). To this union was born Katherine (Dave). Steve graduated from ISU with a Bachelor of Finance in 1995. Steve worked as a loan officer for many years, and the past decade he has been a truck driver. Stephen loved his family more than anything. His children, and his twenty-two grandchildren, brought him more joy than words can convey. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at 10 AM with funeral services proceeding at 11 AM at the LDS Church, 2925 Michelle St. Pocatello, ID. In lieu of flowers, we ask you buy your favorite treat and have a party with your loved ones. This is what Steve would have wanted.
