Stella M. Dowling

Stella M. Dowling, 85, passed away peacefully at a care facility in Salt Lake City, Utah, surrounded by her family on Friday, December 7, 2018.

Stella was born May 12th, 1933 in Arcata California to Edith and Fred Simpson. She married the love of her life, Bill, in 1953. They were married for 60 wonderful years.

Stella enjoyed cooking and entertaining for family and friends. She also loved her garden and giving away much of what she grew to others.

Stella leaves behind daughters; Pam (Rich) Shafer, of Salt Lake City, UT and Carol (Patti) Dowling of Greeley, CO and son Gary Dowling of Navarino, WI, 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Stella was preceded in death by her husband Bill and her son Steven Michael Dowling.
