Stanley Marion Sorensen

Stanley M. Sorensen, born November 3rd 1944 in San Diego California to mother Ora Bolander and father Marion Sorensen. Stan passed away on Monday June 14th at his home. He was the second oldest of 4 siblings. He served in the National Guard and retired from the Pocatello postal service, where he worked for 33 years. He was in love with the outdoors spending much of his time camping, fishing, metal detecting and looking for arrowheads and any old artifact he could find. He enjoyed Indian culture, searching for hieroglyphics and panning for gold. He also had an interest in reading and learning about other cultures and beliefs as well as natural healing techniques. Stan is survived by his daughter, son, brother, sister, granddaughter and 2 great grandchildren. There will be no service as Stan's wishes were to be cremated and have his ashes scattered, those wishes will be granted.
