Sophia Marie Georgio

Sophia Marie Georgio, 53, passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2019. She was born on September 8, 1965 in Garden Grove, California. She was raised in California moving to Idaho in 1986; where she remained until her passing. Sophia married Scott Christensen and they were married for 7 years. She then married Steve Garner they were married for 16 years. She worked as an ESL teacher in Twin Falls, ID for 4 years and then for K & F Engineers as the office manager for 10 years. Sophia attended the Gate City Christian Church and was baptized on September 3, 2006. She enjoyed skiing, cooking and teaching. She loved being involved as a mom with all 4 of her children. Sophia is survived by her sons, Donavan Christensen and Spencer Christensen both of Twin Falls, ID; daughter, Emily Garner of Pocatello, ID; brothers, Michael Georgio of Laguna Hills, CA, Brant Tennant of Buhl, ID, and Charles Tennant of Colorado Springs, CO; adopted mother, Dorothy Tennant of Buhl, ID; and adopted father, Wayne Tennant of Costa Mesa, CA. She was preceded in death by her son, Mitchel Christensen; biological mother, Florence Martin; and biological father, Matthias Georgio. As per family request, there will be no services held at this time.
