Skylar Trѐ Huffield, 22 Goodbyes hurt the most when the story isnt finished Skylars story was tragically cut short on Wednesday, May 25, 2016. While he was here, he lived by the beat of his own drum one of the many instruments he mastered. Along with his musical and vocal talents, he was also a very gifted artist. He enjoyed camping, fishing, video games, horror movies, piercings, tattoos, Oakland Raiders, recording his music, paintball, eating contests (especially sweets), and jamming with friends; but his favorite hobby was picking on his sister, Sierra Gabrielle. Skylar was born on October 22, 1993 in Pocatello, Idaho. Throughout his short life he also lived in Onalaska, Wisconsin and West Lafayette, Indiana. In his younger years he participated in sports and choirs. Skylar graduated from Century High School in 2012 where he was active with the CHS drum line and band. After graduation he earned his living as a professional chef. Skylar loved to laugh and made sure everyone around him felt the same joy. He went out of his way for everyone and continued to do so as an organ donor by donating his generous heart and numerous other lifesaving organs. Skylar is survived by his parents, Autumn Huffield and Adam (Jessica) Huffield; younger sister, Sierra Huffield; grandparents, Scott and Kathleen Huffield, Elaine Highland, Dave (Donna) Highland; aunts, Erin Huffield and Evin "Smelly" Huffield; cousin and mentor, Odell Hatch; birth father, Karl Denton; half-sister, Karly; and numerous great aunts, great uncles, cousins, and close friends. A gathering for family and friends will be Wednesday, June 1, 2016 from 6-8 pm at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. 4th Ave. Pocatello, ID. 208-233-1500. The celebration of Skylars life will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at 2 pm at Grace Lutheran Church, 1350 Baldy Ave, Pocatello, ID.
