Shirley Marie Souders

Shirley Marie Souders, 83, passed away on June 2, 2022, in Pocatello, Idaho surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 15, 1938, in Portland, Oregon.

Shirley married Dennis Buzzell and they moved to Sacramento, CA, Santa Cruz, CA, Salt Lake City, UT, finally settling in Lava Hot Springs, ID, where she remained until her passing.

Shirley loved her Chihuahuas, crocheting, gardening, reading James Patterson books, playing solitaire, making jewelry and crafting. She loved the Oregon coast, especially Seaside, Oregon, and her chocolate. She always had a big smile for everyone and she was very generous with her time to help people.

Shirley is survived by her daughter, Julie (Mark) Patterson of Lava Hot Springs, ID; daughter in law, Lyn Page of Lava Hot Springs, ID; granddaughters, Kristina Buzzell of Denver, CO, Crystal Buzzell of Salt Lake City, UT; great-granddaughters, Ausha Monsler of Salt Lake City, UT, Italia Rife of Lava Hot Springs, ID, Alondra Galecia of Salt Lake City, UT; and great-grandson, Jordan Galicia of Salt Lake City, UT.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Dennis Buzzell; and a granddaughter, Cori Patterson Rife.
