Sherry Lynn Mckim

Sherry Lynn McKim, 66, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 4, 2017 in Pocatello, Idaho. Born in 1950; Sherry grew up in Camarillo California and received a business degree from Santa Barbara Business College. She married Gary Kubik and they became small business owners of a Firestone Tire Store in Palmdale, CA and a sandwich and beer place called Schooners in Apple Valley, CA. She later parlayed her experience into bookkeeping and accounting positions and worked for HB Travel Agency in San Bernardino, CA and a doctor's office in San Diego. Finally, Sherry moved out of the state to retire in Pocatello, ID.

Sherry was active in her community, and church. She was a great interior decorator and became good at construction working on her homes to improve and make them comfortable to live in. She was a cook, seamstress, and stayed busy with cross stitch in her spare time.

She is survived by her beloved son and family.

She suffered from breast cancer that metastasized in her brain and is with God today. No public services will be held.
