Sheldon Martinez, 48, of Fort Hall, passed away on Monday, February 25, 2013, at St. Luke's Hospital in Boise, ID. He was born to Marcelino and Delphina Broncho Martinez on June 1, 1964. He attended school in American Falls. After he graduated high school he moved to Vail, Colorado, where he met Rose Valdez. Together they had two sons: David Sheldon Martinez and Anthony James Martinez. Sheldon loved spending time with his boys. Sheldon was a jack of all trades: mechanic, carpenter, scaffolding, home repair, truck driver, and landscaping. The list of what he could do was unending. Sheldon is survived by his sons David S. Martinez, Anthony J. Martinez; his mother Delphina Broncho Martinez; sisters Maggie Martinez, Janice Denny, Georgianna Tendoy, and Flora Martinez; his brothers Thomas Martinez, Mark Denny, Terry Denny, Adolfo Martinez, Wally Martinez, Eddie "Coke" Martinez, Daniel Martinez, Mario Martinez, Johnny Martinez, and Chris Garza. He is also survived by his nieces Cecyle Perez, Rachelle Denny, Chase Denny; nephews Leland Perez, Lake Denny, and numerous other nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his grandson Damien Nathaniel Moroles. He was preceded in death by his father Marcelino Martinez, his paternal grandmother Josefa Rivas, his maternal grandparents Alfred and Lezzie Marie Martin Broncho, his uncle Tomas Martinez, and his brother Joe Martinez. Graveside services will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday, February 27, 2013, at the Gibson Cemetery.
