Shawn Renee Stone

Shawn Renee Stone, 53, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, July 31, 2015. She was born April 10, 1962 to Carol (Johnson) and Dewayne Turner in Torrance, California. Shawn now joins her parents and her daughter, Amber Marie Keith and unborn grandchild in death. Shawn is survived by two sons, Michael Davison of Chattanooga, Tennessee and Stanley James Stone of Pocatello, ID and her ex-husband Stanley E Stone also of Pocatello, ID. She has two brothers, Bryan Curtis Johnson and Eric Paul Johnson both of California. Shawn spent most of her life in Rodgers, Arkansas before moving to Idaho. She married Stan in Burley, Idaho on September 29, 1994. The two spent the last 20 years traveling and raising their son together. Shawn, her husband, and son loved old cars and devoted their lives to restoring and rebuilding them. Her passion was to be in the garage, wrench in hand, working with the two loves of her life. Shawn graduated from Riverside High School in Riverside, California in 1986. She received an Associates Degree in accounting from the College of Southern Idaho in 1999. Shawn will be missed by everyone who was graced by her presence. She will live on in the hearts of her family. She was a mother, wife, and friend for too brief of a moment. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at 2 PM at Colonial Funeral Home 2005 S. 4 th Ave. Pocatello, Idaho 83201, 208-233-1500.
