Shauna Olsen

Shauna Olsen, 41, passed away at her home on Thursday, June 12, 2007. She was born June 26, 1966 in SLC, UT the daughter of Dewey and Helen (Trujillo) Jones. Shauna gave birth to her first child at age 17, was married to her first husband for 18 years. They had three sons. Shauna traveled and lived in several western states including Salt Lake City, Utah and Clearfield, Utah, Colorado, and Pocatello, Idaho. In her early life she was a career waitress, later she went back to school and became a licensed financial manager, working in the automotive business. Due to health complications she found happiness with her youngest son Trey, her fianc Wesley and close family and friends in Pocatello, Idaho where she lived until her untimely death, due to heart complications. Shauna was very spiritually connected to God as a nondenominational Christian and later became part of the Saint Josephs Holy Spirit Community. She loved to be in the mountains camping and enjoying the simple life and surrounding herself with sunflowers as to remind her of the sunshine in everyday life which was her youngest son Trey (Deaners) Olsen. Shauna is survived by her fianc and life partner Wes Kofod of Pocatello, ID; her parents; Dewey Jones of West Valley (SLC), UT and Merry Trujillo of SLC, UT; sister, Curly Jones of West Valley (SLC), UT; sons, Trevor Olsen and Tyler Olsen both of SLC, UT, Trey Olsen of Pocatello, ID; aunt, Sarah Koeller of Pocatello, ID; grandmother, Helen Trujillo of SLC, UT; cousins, Chuckie LeFevre and Magan Koeller and her daughter Mira all of Pocatello, ID; and one grandchild on it's way. She was preceded in death by her husband, Travis Olsen and Patricia Angle, her aunt. We love you Shauna and will always miss your beautiful presence, your loving family. A Memorial Mass will be held at Saint Joseph's Holy Spirit Catholic Church on Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. The family welcomes all who desire to attend this Memorial Mass.
