Sharon Maye Hall Osterhout, 78, passed away on November 16, 2018 in Pocatello, Idaho.
Sharon was born September 22, 1940 to Ralph and Della Hall, in Burley, Idaho. She attended Burley High School, where she met and later married Steve Osterhout. They had five children and later divorced.
She graduated from ISU in 1973, and began her teaching career in the Marsh Valley School District where she retired in 2000.
Sharon was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma, and multiple Education Associations. She served many callings for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She enjoyed bowling, music, reading and watching her children and grandchildren in their activities. She was an avid sports fan, always cheering on her Denver Broncos and Utah Jazz.
Sharon is survived by her daughter Lori (Terry) McClellan, Buckeye, AZ, daughter Linda (Paul) Southworth, Buckeye, AZ, son Steve (Jodi) Osterhout, Inkom, ID, daughter Stacy (Mike) Jackson, Pocatello, ID, 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter Kelli, her parents, brothers Kenneth and David, sister Donna and grandson Jacob McClellan.
The family would like to express our appreciation to the staff at Rosetta and the team from Encompass for their care and compassion.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 30, at 10:30 a.m. at Wilks Funeral Home, 211 W. Chubbuck Road, in Chubbuck Idaho. A viewing will be held at Wilks Funeral Home on Thursday, November 29 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
